Har Ki Pauri, the clock tower area and the evening Ganga aarti sit in town. The taxi drops you near the ghats and waits. Aarti crowds are large; we plan extra evening hours instead of promising a exact start time or a reserved spot.
Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi are hill temples, usually reached by ropeway. Queues can be long. Doing both plus aarti in one day is possible only if you start early and accept a packed schedule. Many travellers keep the temples as extra hours or a second day.
